I’m Bob…I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from Robert Morris University.

Served in the Army during the Korean War and married my high school sweetheart,

Marjorie. Having spent my first 40 years in Pittsburgh,

I have remained Steelers fan with annual trips to Steeler’s training camp.

I worked as an accountant in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Texas and Cincinnati, then retired to

Perkasie in 1993. Marjorie had a long illness and died in 2003.

I have 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Only a few are local.

I am a member and served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Perkasie.

I moved into Dorchester Village in 2004.

I’m Fran (the other Fairbaugh)…For most of my life I lived in Philadelphia – actually until 2001

when my first husband, Joe, and I bought a 263 year old house in Silverdale.

Unfortunately within 6 weeks, Joe was diagnosed with cancer. He died in 2003. We had 4 children.

Now I have 13 grandchildren ranging in ages 5 to 29. None live nearby.

I graduated from La Salle University and retired from MossRehab Hospital in 2009.

Since retiring, I have become more active in my Church, St. Agnes, and also participate with

Bob at First Baptist programs and services. I enjoy traveling, reading (especially sharing with others in two book Clubs),

visiting with shut ins in a Barnabas (encouragement) program and water aerobics.

In 2004, we met at a Grand View hospice support group limited for people whose spouses had died.

After meeting weekly, for months, members began to have bi-weekly dinners together.

In September 2007 we began dating – just as friends. In August 2008 we were married.

We are very grateful that God has brought us together. Each day is a blessing and a joy.
