Darlene Kegg
I moved
to 220 Dorchester in November 2004 from Chalfont where I resided since 1966.
I am from Bedford, PA and graduated from Bedford High School.
I came to this
area with my husband in 1961.
I have two children, a son and a daughter, three
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
I have worked at engineering companies for many years. I worked in the
publications department
and eventually became a writer/editor at one company but
left and joined another company where
I was the office manager for 18 years. I
retired in 1998 when my husband became ill.
I enjoy crossword puzzles, was on a bowling team for several years, playing
cards,
traveling and using my iPad for information and the latest news.
I have
traveled to many states, countries and enjoyed many cruises.
I also really enjoy
spending a lot of time at my home in the mountains in Bedford County as
I still
have a lot of family and friends in the area. I like going there with my family
as they love the area and riding the atv’s.
BOB IANNETTA also of 220 Dorchester Drive.
I was born in South Philadelphia in 1938 and
after WW11 my father moves us to Quakertown
where he opened Carmen’s Hoagie
Shop. I graduated from QCSHS IN 1957 and enlisted in the Air Force.
After the
service I worked at REEDMANS AUTO for about 12 years and in 1970
I purchased a
closed service station in Sellersville across from St. Agnes RC Church and named
it
BOBS GRANDVIEW SERVICE CENTER and thanking God it was successful.
On the
strength of it I purchased the burned out SELVIL THEATER
and after rebuilding it
renamed it CINEMA 1894.
After I sold the theater and turned my service center of
25 years into a modern convenience store
(BOBS GRANDVIEW DEPOT) and after
another 20 PLUS years I figured I had payed my dues and retired in 2009
and
after a chance meeting I met Darlene Kegg and have been in the community since
2014 and that is the story more or less.
