Hello, everybody, we are so happy to be here, now, for over a year, (since April 10, 2019).
Mike and I, (Linda), moved here from Doylestown, where we had lived for over 30 years, as
Mike lost a leg as a result of a fall.
136
Devonshire Way was the perfect place in a lovely community with friendly,
welcoming, and caring neighbors.
We would like to sincerely thank all the "known" and "mystery" people who have
moved our trash containers
closer to the garage and brought newspapers and packages to our front door.
We have
been very impressed with the people, the cleanliness, efficiency, and "quiet" of
the community and all the activities it has to offer.
We have been married for 35 years and have 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3
great-grandchildren
who live within a relatively short distance from us and keep us occupied.
Mike is a retired car wash operator and worked as a Hospice Volunteer at Doylestown Hospital
and also worked with people with substance disorders.
I am a
Registered Nurse and work at Doylestown Hospital.
We both like traveling and reading. Mike likes to cook and do accounting work
and
I like to eat and have our taxes done for free. We look forward to continuing our life at the
Village
at Dorchester and getting to know you all.
